Small Group
Neighborhood Bible Studies
In addition to the Bible
studies that meet in the church on Monday nights, Tuesdays at 11
a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 a.m., we would like to help organize
small group Bible studies in you neighborhood this fall for
those who are interested. These gatherings could have flexible
scheduling, need not last more than an hour, could be tailored
to fit your group's interests and would be a great way to become
better acquainted with fellow church members.
Matthew 18:20 says "For where
two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in
their midst." Please prayerfully consider joining a Bible study
this fall. You may call the church office at 462-5147 to sign
up.

Men's Breakfast Club: All men are invited to breakfast,
fellowship and a program on the fourth Saturday of each month at
7:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.

like more information. |
|
Clipper Club is a group which
endeavors to encourage Christian fellowship within the church
for people with similar interests, to foster growth in Christian
faith in every home, and to help individuals progress in their
Christian living. We act as a service organization when needed
and are always interested in bringing new members to our church
and our group. This group meets the second Sunday of each month
or as noted in the church program schedule. |
|
First Friends are volunteers who
serve as friends to new members. These friendships can be key to
new members feeling "at home" in our congregation and becoming
involved in some way in addition to Sunday Worship. |
Stephen Ministry, in concert
with the pastors and other caring ministries, provides
confidential help to individuals who are hospitalized,
terminally ill, bereaved, in a job or spiritual crisis,
disabled, homebound, lonely or are new members of the church.
Our Stephen Ministers are a diverse group of specially trained
lay people who have a love of God, family and friends, and a
willingness to share this love. Contact the Stephen Leadership
Team:
Al Meyer - 463-0067. |
|
Caring Visitors have provided a ministry of visitation for
many years. In consultation with the visitation committee,
caring visitors work in coordination with the Deacons and
Pastors to assure that our homebound members know that we care
for them. |
|
The Prayer Chain is a confidential ministry of members of
the church who offer themselves in prayer for others. If you
have a prayer concern, please call Harriett Johnson - 463-4746 - and your
request will be passed along to the chain. |
